Cosmetics hygience

when you go to mac beauty counter, sephora, chanel and other beauty counters do you notice that they provide disposable cosmetics applicators? have you ever wonder why? sometimes people doesn't even bother about it and they even swatches the tester makeup without using the disposable applicator that has been provided. and to some people, have you notice when you are wearing mascara your eyes turns red, itchy on your cheek or pimples after you are using the product of your own or the tester.

Is hygienic important when it comes to makeup?? YESS!! its very important to be hygienic. always sanitize your makeup and always have disposable applicators with you. whether its for your own or for your client. and always remember to dispose all your makeup that already reach expiration. Don't keep it. NO No...... and now i'm listing the list of expiration for cosmetics

• Nail-polish: 2 years
• Powder (blushes, compacts, bronzers and eye-shadows): 2 years
• Liquid & cream foundation: 1 year
• Lipstick: 1 year
• Cream & liquid eye-shadows 1 year
• Lip-gloss: 6 months
• Mascara & liquid liner: 3-6 months

what can you do is, once you've open your  new product, please write down the date at the product. so you will know when is the best time to throw your expires items. Other than that, dont share your makeup. its okay if they call you stinky. haha... back to what i've said earlier, get yourself disposable applicators and always keep in your makeup pouch so whenever people near you want to borrow youe makeup, you dont have to share with them. 

i'm very fussy when it comes to tools. i always clean my tools before a job and after. even if i already clean it, i prefer to clean it once again. Clean tools will make you look even more professional. If i drop my brush or sponge on the floor. I will not going to use that brush, after all i dont know what's on the floor. 

And, don't blow anything. whatever it is, whether its eyelashes, or excess powder, blush. NEVER blow and if you see your Makeup Artist doing this. please tell them to STOP. its better for them / you to fan your fake eyelashes backwards and forward, and for powder you can simply tapped the brush on the back of your hand and the excess will fall off.
